Buho Restaurant

This little gem of a Mexican restaurant features food that tastes like someone's Mexican grandma whipped it up in the kitchen!
Located in Lambertville, NJ (go over the bridge, past Lambertville Station, first street on the right, right hand side), it's close to our home in Wrightstown, so we've been there often.
The menu is varied, but I've found some favorites and it's hard for me to steer clear of them.
The carnitas (shredded seasoned pork) are delicious, I love the tacos with similar pork, and the chicken chalupas are my favorite.
The nachos are awesome, try the ones with guacamole, it's like a salad mixed with tortilla chips, beans, guacamole, etc.
They have homemade soups that change with the day of the week that a fellow diner enjoyed on one visit, and their desserts are delectable.
It's a BYOB (there's a wine and spirits shop a block away), but the owner will treat you to complimentary margaritas. The prices are reasonable for the amount and excellent quality of food you receive.
Try it! Tell Maria that Becky and Harry sent you...
